WE ARE CLOSING February 2026!
After nearly a decade of unforgettable memories, the Big Tin Cotton Gin and MOSO Events will be closing our doors on February 28, 2026, due to the sale of the land. We have truly loved being a part of this community—hosting countless weddings, school and community events, celebrations, and family gatherings over the years. It has been an absolute joy for our family to serve and share so many meaningful moments with so many incredible families, and we are forever grateful for the memories made here.
ABOUT
US
MOSO Events is named after a Mother-and-Son team consisting of Julie and Kevin Ballentyne. Their passion for event planning, bringing people together to celebrate, along with their family approach with every client is in their genes.
When they found the Gin in 2018 it was love at first sight. The 70-year-old Cotton Gin holds decades of history, character and potential. Their vision came to light when renovations completed and the first event was held in 2019. Julie and Kevin brought together their love for events and each other to create a space for all to enjoy.
